Job summary

Aldar Hospitality invites applications for a General Technician at Saadiyat Beach Club to maintain beach facility operations, safety, and guest experience. You will support the Engineering department in keeping equipment, systems, and public areas in optimal condition through preventive and corrective maintenance.

The role requires 1–2 years of hospitality maintenance experience, basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC knowledge, plus strong problem-solving and teamwork abilities.

Qualifications

• Technical certification or vocational training in Electrical/Mechanical/HVAC.
• 1–2 years of maintenance experience in hospitality, beach clubs, resorts, or facilities management.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general repair work.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve maintenance issues efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repair works for electrical, plumbing, HVAC, lighting and mechanical systems.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and operational breakdowns.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest areas, beach facilities, pools, restaurants, changing rooms, and back-of-house areas.
• Ensure engineering equipment and facilities function safely and efficiently.
• Assist in preventive maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime.
• Report major repair requirements and technical issues to the Engineering Supervisor or Team Leader.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of engineering tools, equipment, and work areas.
• Support setup and maintenance of beach events and outdoor activities as required.
