Job Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure timely service and smooth operation.
- Understand and adhere to all hotel policies, Standard Operating Procedures, guest service standards, operational guidelines, personal discipline, and grooming requirements.
- Perform every guest interaction in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Maintain professional telephone etiquette and a thorough understanding of reservation policies and procedures.
- Be fully familiar with services offered in the restaurant and throughout the hotel.
- Greet and seat guests in the Pool & Beach area warmly, setting a welcoming tone that continues throughout the guest experience.
- Check each table to ensure it is clean and properly set before guests are seated.
- Seek guest feedback on their experience, address any issues promptly, and escalate problems to outlet managers when necessary.
- Assist in service duties whenever needed to support team efforts.
Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of Food & Beverage operations.
- Good communication skills.
- Maximum of 2 years of relevant experience.
Additional Responsibilities
- Deliver prompt and courteous service maintaining a positive image and cleanliness of guest areas.
- Ensure total guest satisfaction through supervision of food and beverage service, including restaurant and room service orders.
- Assist in maintaining guest satisfaction during shifts by facilitating service, communication with the kitchen, and engaging with guests.
- Help maintain a motivated and well-trained staff.
- Open and close shifts according to the Managers Checklist.
- Train, maintain, and enforce all Anantara Service Standards.
- Properly execute revenue and check control procedures during shifts.
- Maintain a safe and sanitary environment for all staff and guests.
- Gather and implement necessary tools for running shifts (schedules, floor plans, reservations, checks).
- Find solutions for daily operational issues such as call-outs and last-minute bookings.
- Remain on the floor throughout meal periods to ensure adequate coverage.
- Serve only quality products.
- Maintain proper uniform standards for associates.
- Manage repair and maintenance programs through work orders and inspections.
- Exercise station rotation to ensure fair distribution among staff.
- Support associates in job performance and participate in training programs.
- Encourage problem-solving and empower associates to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Establish effective communication to build trust and respect, and handle disciplinary procedures fairly and consistently.
- Identify and recommend incentive programs, new ideas, and operational improvements.
