Are you passionate about solving customer problems and making an impact? Caterpillar’s Building Construction Products (BCP) division offers an opportunity to join our sales team as a Sales Director for small and compact equipment. This leadership role oversees a team across the Asia Pacific, Africa, and Middle East regions. If you seek a leadership role with influence, this is a great opportunity.

Role Summary

Lead a team that includes sales execution, dealer sales, technical support, application experts, and product support personnel to increase customer loyalty within the Business Construction Products division.

Support dealers in developing and implementing strategies and programs for BCP Solutions growth through machines, attachments, parts, service, and CVA sales in their territories.

Increase industry customer spend on Caterpillar products and services and foster customer loyalty.

What You Will Do
  • Achieve business plans for machines, parts, work tools, and manage sales variances.
  • Provide product/application expertise, dealer sales support, and customer service.
  • Implement go-to-market strategies.
  • Meet PINS and POPS-C goals and oversee product profitability in your territory.
  • Establish policies and guidelines to meet management goals and desired results.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees and certifications preferred.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization.
  • Knowledge of industry trends, issues, and regulatory considerations.
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong communication and relationship skills.
  • Successful negotiation skills and business development knowledge.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with configuration tools and solution-based selling.
  • Strong presentation skills, workshop hosting, and demo experience.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results.
  • Familiarity with Caterpillar’s go-to-market strategies and dealer network.
