Job Description:

Fuel & Additives Procurement Specialist

To manage the procurement and blending of fuel and additives for gasoline production, ensuring compliance with quality standards and cost efficiency. The role requires a strong chemical engineering background to optimize blending processes and align with operational objectives.

Key Activities:

1. Procurement Management:
   • Source and evaluate suppliers for fuel and additives.
   • Negotiate contracts to achieve cost-effective procurement while maintaining quality standards.
2. Blending Operations:
   • Oversee and optimize the blending of gasoline and additives.
   • Ensure that blending operations comply with industry and company standards.
3. Quality Assurance:
   • Conduct regular quality checks and audits to ensure product specifications are met.
   • Develop and implement procedures for blending and quality control.
4. Market Analysis:
   • Monitor market trends and provide insights for procurement strategies.
   • Identify new products and technologies to improve blending efficiency and product quality.
5. Compliance and Reporting:
   • Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
   • Prepare regular reports on procurement and blending activities for senior management.

Knowledge:

• In-depth knowledge of base oil and additive specifications and blending techniques.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Strong understanding of procurement and supply chain management principles.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in fuel and additive procurement or a similar role within the petroleum industry. Proven experience in gasoline blending and additive applications.
