The MERC (Middle East Resourcing Center) Business Unit supports the operations of the Consulting Line of Service. It focuses on competencies such as Resourcing, Business Development, Talent Acquisition & Recruitment, Human Capital, Communications, and Central Finance. The MERC Consulting team provides backend support to deliver high-quality results to our clients.

Job Summary

A career in Finance within an internal consulting team offers the opportunity to support PwC’s internal finance functions, including financial planning and reporting, data analysis, and strategic support for leadership.

Roles & Responsibilities

As a Senior Associate, you'll be part of a team solving complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Managing multiple projects simultaneously, balancing tasks and commitments effectively.
  • Interacting with various PwC service lines, requiring a broad understanding of PwC’s offerings and trends.
  • Supporting the LOS Finance Lead in financial planning and analysis.
  • Ensuring timely internal financial reporting and data validation.
  • Conducting financial analysis, providing recommendations on profitability, cost efficiencies, and P&L movements.
  • Managing the budgeting and forecasting processes for the ME firm across all Business Units and Lines of Service.
  • Supporting the annual budgeting process from planning to leadership approval.
  • Enhancing reporting through Power BI dashboards for real-time insights.
  • Reviewing monthly business performance and providing commentary.
  • Developing innovative reporting solutions for management requests.
Skills and Competencies
  • Achievement-oriented with adaptability and independence.
  • Excellent organizational skills, resilience, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Fluent in English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
Educational Qualifications & Certifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in accounting or finance.
  • CMA or Chartered Accountant preferred.

  • 3-5 years of relevant FP&A experience.
  • Experience in the GCC is beneficial.
