Our jobs aren’t just about mixing drinks. Instead, we want to build an experience that is memorable and unique. Our bartenders have the basics down, but are constantly on the look-out for new trends, micro-local offerings, and guests’ evolving needs. They are not just beverage enthusiasts, but also hosts of the space. Their role extends beyond the bar to take ownership of guest service broadly. They use their knowledge and expertise to ensure the bar looks and functions flawlessly. Building relationships with other hotel staff and the community, they anticipate and fulfill our guests’ needs. Passion for guest service and attention to detail—covering everything from handling money, providing information, to drink quality—is essential.
Critical to success are creating a safe workplace, following policies and procedures, protecting assets, maintaining confidentiality, and ensuring a professional appearance. Bartenders will be on their feet, moving around, and engaging in physical activities such as moving, lifting (up to 25 pounds), reaching, bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Performing these duties well is crucial to delivering excellent service and supporting our business goals.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of relevant experience.
Supervisory Experience: None required.
License or Certification: None required.
