Job summary

Jumeirah Beach Hotel in Dubai is seeking a Bartender/Barista to join Fika. You will deliver exceptional bar service, craft cocktails to a high standard, and maintain a pristine bar area in a luxury setting.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in a 5-star environment, hold basic Food Hygiene training, and are fluent in English with a passion for guest satisfaction within a multicultural team.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in a similar position within a luxury 5-star environment.
• Basic Food and Hygiene Training.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in an additional language.
• Genuine passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences within a multicultural team environment.
• Confident and professional in managing guest feedback with empathy and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional bar service, ensuring personalized guest attention and upsell where appropriate.
• Prepare and mix cocktails and beverages according to set recipes with high presentation standards.
• Maintain a well-organized, visually appealing bar setup and properly arrange merchandise and equipment.
• Handle transactions efficiently, ensuring accurate preparation and processing of drink orders.
• Collaborate with the team to maintain bar cleanliness and hygiene and ensure glassware readiness.
• Ensure responsible service of alcoholic beverages in line with legal and regulatory requirements.
