Job summary

Anantara Mina Al Arab Ras Al Khaimah Resort is seeking a professional bartender to deliver premium beverage service in a luxury hotel setting. You will craft cocktails, manage bar setup, and ensure top-tier guest experiences during peak hours.

The role requires knowledge of cocktails, spirits and wine, plus experience in a high-end environment. Strong English and teamwork are essential for this busy luxury resort in Ras Al Khaimah.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, mixers, garnishes, and drink preparation techniques.
• Friendly communication, active listening, and the ability to handle customer requests professionally.
• Ability to operate a POS system, process payments, and maintain accurate transactions.
• Previous experience in bartending in luxury hotel and restaurant.
• Comfortable standing for long periods and working in a busy environment.
• Good memory, attention to detail, patience, teamwork, reliability, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Good spoken English is commonly useful, particularly in international hospitality environments.

Responsibilities

• Display the best of our hospitality and professionalism with guests.
• Set up the bar at opening, including liquor, ice, glassware, juices and garnishes.
• Process drink orders in proper calling order and check quantities.
• Prepare cocktails per Minor Hotels standard beverage manual.
• Assist with bar security and daily cleaning and organization of rails and counters.
• Perform related duties and special projects as assigned.

• To professionally set up bar at the start of opening, including liquor, icing, glassware, juices and garnishes.
• To process drink orders in proper calling order, to check for correct number of drinks.
• To make all cocktails in accordance with Minor Hotels Resorts & Spas standard beverage manual, using full standard measures.
• Bar professionals will receive and check liquor against previous shift’s requisitions. Any discrepancies with the receiving order should be brought to the attention of the Beverage Manager.
• To manage security in the work area, and at no time to leave the bar area unless properly relieved by a colleague.
• Assist with cleanup - mopping floors, removal of cans and bottles, general cleaning of rails and counters, removal of melting ice in bins.
• Performing related duties and special projects as assigned.
