Bartender

Daikan Izakaya, City Walk, a premier destination for Japanese cuisine, is on the lookout for a passionate and dedicated skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating and serving exceptional cocktails and beverages to our guests while providing a memorable dining experience.

Responsibilities:

• Beverage Preparation: Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to our menu and guest preferences. Ensure the highest quality of drink preparation and presentation.
• Customer Service: Greet and interact with customers, taking their orders and recommending signature cocktails or beverages. Provide attentive and friendly service to enhance the guest experience. Address any customer concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
• Menu Knowledge: Possess a deep understanding of our cocktail menu, including ingredients, techniques, and recommended pairings. Stay updated on the latest trends in mixology and incorporate new and innovative techniques into your craft.
• Inventory Management: Monitor and control beverage inventory to minimize waste and ensure availability of ingredients. Collaborate with the management team on ordering, restocking, and tracking inventory levels.
• Cleanliness and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including equipment, tools, and glassware. Adhere to all health and safety regulations and sanitation standards.
• Upselling and Revenue Generation: Recommend and upsell premium liquors, seasonal specials, and promotions to increase sales and customer satisfaction.
• Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with the front-of-house and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and timely service. Support and assist team members as needed.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Bartender in a high-volume restaurant or bar.
• Extensive knowledge of cocktail recipes, mixology techniques, and beverage trends.
• Proficiency in preparing classic and contemporary cocktails.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think quickly under pressure.
• Knowledge of beverage and sanitation regulations.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
