To professionally set up bar at the start of opening including liquor icing glassware juices and garnishes. To process drink orders in proper calling order to check for correct number of drinks and manage billing quickly and efficiently. To make all cocktails in accordance with Anantara Resorts & Spas standard beverage manual using full standard measures. Barman will receive and check liquor against previous shifts requisitions. Any discrepancies with the receiving order should be brought to the attention of the F&B Supervisor. To manage security in the work area and at no time to leave the bar area unless properly relieved by a colleague. Assist with cleanup mopping floors removal of cans and bottles general cleaning of rails and counters removal of melting ice in bins.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years Bartending experience in luxury hotels / resorts.
High school degree or its equivalent.
Impeccable wine, beer, and cocktail knowledge.
Passion for Food, Beverage, and providing excellent customer service.
Ability to multitask.
Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks.
Positive attitude and excellent communication skills both oral and written.
Multilanguage is an advantage.
Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked, and clean.

Gather and implement all proper tools for running shifts (i.e. schedules, floor plans, reservations, checks).
Find solutions for problems such as call outs, last minute bookings, or any other daily problems that may arise.
Be on the floor during the entire meal period and ensure adequate coverage.
Ensure that only a quality product is being served.
Maintain proper Associate uniform standards.
Manage an effective repair and maintenance program through the use of work orders, inspections, etc.
Exercise station rotation to ensure stations are distributed fairly. Handle daily Associate relations (i.e. scheduling, time adjustments, etc.).
Assist any Associate in his/her job performance when required to ensure guest satisfaction. Assist in implementing an effective training program for new and current associates.
Encourage problem solving by Associates through proper training and empowerment to ensure guest satisfaction.
Establish effective communication with Associates to gain their trust and respect through hard work. Maintain fair and consistent counseling and/or disciplinary procedures in accordance with Anantara's Guarantee of Fair Treatment Policy.
Identify and recommend incentive programs, new ideas, and methods of operation.
