Primary Roles & Responsibilities

Drink Preparation & Service

• Mix and serve alcoholic beverages based on recipes or customer requests.
• Pour beer, wine, and spirits accurately.
• Create signature cocktails and recommend drinks to customers.

Customer Service

• Greet guests, take orders, and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Engage in friendly conversation while maintaining professionalism.
• Handle complaints or escalate them to management if needed.

Bar Maintenance & Cleanliness

• Keep the bar clean, stocked, and organized.
• Wash glassware and sanitize surfaces regularly.
• Dispose of trash and restock supplies as needed.

Inventory Management

• Monitor stock levels of alcohol, mixers, and bar supplies.
• Inform managers when items need reordering.
• Occasionally help with stock rotation and deliveries.

Compliance & Safety

• Check IDs to ensure customers are of legal drinking age.
• Serve alcohol responsibly and watch for signs of intoxication.
• Follow local liquor laws and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with waitstaff and kitchen staff.
• Communicate effectively during busy periods.
• Assist coworkers as needed.
