Responsibilities
- Beverage Preparation: Expertly prepare a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and specialty items, following established recipes and quality standards.
- Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, take orders efficiently, answer questions about menu items, and make personalized recommendations.
- Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee-making equipment, ensuring they are clean and in proper working order.
- Workstation Management: Keep the bar area clean, organized, and fully stocked with supplies like coffee beans, milk, and pastries.
- Health & Safety: Adhere to all health, safety, and food hygiene regulations to maintain a sanitary environment.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations and a positive atmosphere for customers.
Key Skills and Qualifications
- Customer Service: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to provide excellent service and create a welcoming environment.
- Coffee Knowledge: Familiarity with various coffee beans, brewing methods, and drink recipes.
- Operational Skills: Experience with operating espresso machines and other coffee equipment.
- Efficiency: Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

- Other Requirements: Experienced barista with coffee making (manual) and coffee art skills. Must have fine dining experience (Italian service preferred) and table service.
Additional Experience
- Hotel or hospitality experience.
- Will assist with coffee making, food service and clearing, setup and pack down for private appointments and events; knowledge of sequence of service; hands-on attitude, common sense, positive attitude and welcoming approach.
- Fluent in English; additional language skills in Italian or Arabic are a plus.
