Job summary

MyPT in the UAE is seeking a friendly Barista cum Service to deliver an excellent café experience to gym members and guests. You will prepare beverages, greet customers, take orders, and ensure smooth service.

The role requires 1–2 years of experience in specialty coffee or customer service, strong coffee and beverage knowledge, and good communication. You will work with POS, handle payments, and maintain hygiene.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in specialty coffee, barista, or customer service roles.
• Strong knowledge of coffee, smoothies, mocktails, and other beverages.
• Excellent communication and guest-handling skills.
• Previous POS and cash-handling experience.
• Well-groomed, friendly, energetic, and professional.
• Strong teamwork skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Good knowledge of hygiene and food safety standards.
• Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, smoothies, mocktails, juices, and other beverages.
• Welcome and assist gym members and guests with friendly and professional service.
• Take orders accurately, operate the POS system, and handle cash/card payments.
• Recommend menu items and promote beverages and café products when appropriate.
• Maintain excellent hygiene, cleanliness, and presentation of the café and service area.
• Handle customer requests and feedback while providing excellent customer service.
• Ensure proper portioning, recipes, presentation, and consistency of all beverages.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with daily inventory and replenishment.
• Clean and maintain coffee machines, grinders, blenders, and other equipment.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures and ensure smooth daily café operations.
