Job summary

Abroad Work in Sharjah is seeking a Barista to join our busy café team. You will prepare hot and cold drinks, greet customers with a friendly demeanor, take orders, and ensure smooth service from start to finish.

We value cash handling accuracy, great customer service, and the ability to stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment. Food safety and cleanliness are essential, and prior barista experience is preferred though not required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Food handler’s certification preferred.
• Experience as a Barista; minimum of 6 months preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while demonstrating excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Prepare hot and cold drinks such as espresso, cappuccino, latte, and other specialty coffee drinks.
• Greet customers with friendly and helpful demeanor.
• Make accurate change and process customer payments efficiently.
• Take orders from customers and communicate clearly about menu items.
• Maintain cleanliness of the store, including counters and tables.
• Ensure all food safety guidelines are followed.
• Assist with other duties as needed.
