Job Description

Reporting to the Food & Beverages Manager and Outlet Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions:

  • Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service.
  • Assist guests regarding menu items in an informative and helpful way.
  • Follow outlet policies, procedures and service standards.
  • Have full knowledge of beverage lists and promotions.
  • Have full knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods.
  • Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage.
  • Report to duty punctually, in full uniform according to appearance and grooming standards.
  • Promote and maintain a positive working relationship at all times with all the Colleagues of Rixos Premium Dubai.
  • Fully understand and follow the hotel’s recycling program and procedures.
  • Actively participate in all health and safety procedures for the entire hotel.
  • Always take corrective action if service errors occur, ensuring all solutions exceed the Guests expectation.
  • Understand each service station and all side duties assigned to that station.
  • Carrying out any miscellaneous duties and responsibilities as requested by your Manager/Supervisor pertaining to total quality service delivered.
  • Flexibility in availability for changing shifts according to the demand of the business.
  • Complying with all Hotel rules and regulations at all times.
  • Ensuring excellent first impression of the guest by practicing excellent personal hygiene and impeccable cleanliness of the outlet.
  • Provide unique dining experiences to all of our guests through warm, personal & detailed service in an upscale, fast paced environment.
  • Assist in the development of new and innovative beverage concepts for a la carte menu and monthly promotions.
  • Work with leaders and department trainers to train and evaluate team on beverage standards.
  • Work with the team to achieve greater results and positive relations.
  • Provide service consistent with all Standards.
  • Perform duties as requested by supervisors/managers.
Qualifications
  • Previous Barista experience required.
  • Previous point of sale system experience an asset, but not required.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities.
  • Highly responsible & reliable.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team.
  • Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
