Job description

POSITION SUMMARY

Complete opening and closing duties including setting up supplies and tools, cleaning equipment and areas, locking doors, etc. Set up, stock, and maintain work areas. Input orders into the cash register system and collect payments. Take orders, record them in MICROS system, and prepare food and coffee beverages. Ensure appliances (e.g., coffee makers) are turned on/off at appropriate times. Bus coffee cart areas and tables. Clean dishes, utensils, work areas, tables, and equipment throughout the day. Obtain change for expected business levels. Count the bank at the end of the shift, complete cashier reports, resolve discrepancies, drop off receipts, and secure the bank.

Follow all company, safety, and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions; complete safety training and certifications. Maintain a clean and professional appearance, protect proprietary information, and safeguard company assets. Greet and acknowledge guests according to company standards, anticipate and address service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests sincerely. Communicate clearly and professionally. Develop positive working relationships and support team goals. Adhere to quality standards. Read and verify information in various formats. Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines for defects. Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods. Move, lift, carry, push, pull objects weighing up to 25 pounds. Use fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination to manipulate objects. Navigate narrow or elevated spaces, stairs, or ramps. Reach overhead and below knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Perform other duties as requested by supervisors.

Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
