Job summary

Eatx is seeking a passionate and experienced Barback to join a prestigious, high-volume fine dining venue in DIFC. You will support bartenders, restock beverages, maintain cleanliness, and assist during service to ensure smooth operations.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience in luxury hotels or fine dining, excellent English, and strong organizational and time management skills. This role requires flexibility and the ability to stand for long shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in same or similar role in luxury hotels or fine dining restaurants.
• Excellent level of English, written and spoken.
• Strong organisational and time management skills with a high degree of flexibility.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Demonstrate integrity in all dealings and maintain high level of confidentiality.
• Ability to work long shifts and stand for the extended period of time.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver beverages to members and guests following the department SOPs.
• Participate in creating new cocktails and assist with developing drink list for the Bar menu.
• Ensure efficient, consistent flow of service and meet standards during service periods.
• Handle minor complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
• Ensure Bar equipment and other service items are prepared and available.
• Minimize beverage wastage and secure stock under your responsibility.

Job Summery

The ideal candidate will help ensure the bar operates smoothly and efficiently by maintaining cleanliness, restocking beverage and supplies, and assisting bartenders during service.

What Will You Do

Your main duties and responsibilities are:

• Prepare and deliver beverages to members and guests following the department Standard Operating Procedures
• Participate in creating new cocktails and assist with developing drink list for the Bar menu
• Ensure the efficient, consistent flow of service and standards are constantly met during service periods
• Handle minor complaints in a professional and courteous manner
• Ensure that all the Bar equipment and any other objects needed for service are prepared and available
• Be efficient in keeping beverage wastage to a minimum and ensuring stock under your responsibility is secure
