Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain a working environment in which staff are fully trained, supportive of each other, motivated, and competent.
• Manage and promote our theme nights including quiz and bingo.
• Maintain and enhance weekly, monthly, and yearly sports schedules that will be used internally and on social media.
• Effectively manage the bar’s administration including checklists, briefings, monthly training calendars, staff appraisals, handovers, operating equipment control, bar stock control, rosters, forecasts, budget reports, and guest charges.
• Build and maintain strong relations with customers and manage conflict effectively.
• Maintain the health, hygiene, and professional appearance of the restaurant area and all who work in it.
• Fulfil service requirements promptly and with a positive approach.
• Work as part of a team or individually to deliver high-quality standards.

Minimum Requirements:

Good numeracy, verbal and written English skills, a tertiary qualification or diploma in hospitality management or similar, Bar/Sports Bar experience in a 4 or 5-star hotel, avid sports fanatic paired with good knowledge of all sports, ability to build and maintain relationships, and Micros systems knowledge.
