Qualifications

• Experience leading bar teams in upscale or luxury hospitality
• Expert-level knowledge of cocktails, premium spirits, wine and trends
• Proven ability to manage inventory, ordering, stock rotation and waste reduction
• Outstanding customer service skills with escalation resolution
• Strong leadership to mentor and train bar staff

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate bar team to maintain service standards
• Oversee daily bar operations: inventory, ordering, receiving, and stock rotation to minimize waste
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and sanitation regulations
• Collaborate on cocktails and menus aligned with trends and guest preferences
• Resolve guest complaints promptly to uphold satisfaction
• Prepare beverages accurately according to recipes and standards
• Assess guest needs and offer tailored recommendations
• Serve food and drinks professionally with high standards
• Maintain knowledge of all menu items and describe them to guests
• Keep bar area clean and maintained for guest comfort
• Process payments accurately and promptly
• Refer concerns to Beverage/GM for personalized service
• Set up bar daily per procedures and par levels
• Clean designated areas following hygiene protocols
• Maintain personal hygiene and dress code
• Attend meetings and training to improve service quality
• Check IDs to verify legal drinking age
