Job summary

Iconic IT Consulting Service LLC is seeking an experienced Infrastructure and Platform Engineer with 8+ years in banking IT to design, build, and operate cloud-native infrastructure for a major Abu Dhabi client on a 12-month contract.

Responsibilities include provisioning Azure and OpenShift/Kubernetes platforms, IaC with Terraform, GitOps, AI-assisted operations, security hardening, and disaster recovery, with immediate availability or 1-month notice.

Qualifications

8+ years of progressive professional experience in banking infra, cloud operations, or platform engineering.
Hands-on Azure, Kubernetes/OpenShift, and Linux administration.
Strong IaC and automation tooling experience with Terraform and GitOps.
Excellent English communication and stakeholder collaboration.

Responsibilities

Build, configure, and operate resilient cloud-native infrastructure for banking APIs and integrations.
Provision and operate Azure, Kubernetes/OpenShift, and enterprise integration infra.
Implement IaC templates and advanced automation pipelines.
Manage high availability, auto-scaling, backups, and disaster recovery frameworks.
Support observability, monitoring, and capacity planning.
Harden environments to meet banking cybersecurity regulations.
Leverage AI-assisted operations for log analysis and runbook support.
Collaborate with core banking software developers, security officers, and enterprise architects.
