Job summary

DiceTek UAE is seeking a Cloud and Middleware Application Engineer to support containerized banking applications and integration platforms in Abu Dhabi. The role involves managing OpenShift and AWS EKS operations, Oracle database administration, and CI/CD automation in a banking technology environment.

The ideal candidate should have 4 to 5 years of IT experience, strong banking operations knowledge, and excellent communication skills in English.

Qualifications

• 4 to 5 years of IT experience with a banking technology background.
• At least 1 to 2 years of experience handling enterprise application systems and technical infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of banking operations and system integration challenges.
• Experience managing cloud-native and containerized environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support OpenShift container platforms including deployment, scaling, and administration.
• Administer AWS EKS clusters and handle Kubernetes deployments and autoscaling configurations using HPA.
• Perform Oracle Database 19c administration, performance tuning, and SQL development.
• Configure and manage Kong API Gateway including routing, authentication, and observability.
• Maintain and support relational databases including Oracle and SQL Server.
