Responsibilities :
- Maintenance, development and strengthening RGE Group’s banking relationships with MENA region’s financial institutions.
- Support in developing, maintaining and strengthening the Group’s relationships with financial institutions and markets;
- Support in maintaining compliance requirements for financing deals;
- Support in structuring, promoting and executing financing deals for the Group’s funding requirements;
- Preparation and execution of information memorandum & prospectus, financial modelling, internal & external presentation materials & regional financing roadshows;
- Liaising with banks on all banking matters including financing needs, legal documentation, banking transactions, KYC, Compliance and bank queries;
- Liaising with external parties such as external lawyers and sustainability consultants in relation to loan documentation and sustainability linked financing projects;
- Organize and attend site visits with banks and coordinate weekly/monthly BG discussions on various business matters.
- Liaise with internal/external stakeholders for day to day requirements of the business group
Requirements :
- B Post Graduate in Banking/Finance/ Accountancy (preferably CA/CFA/CMA)
- Minimum 5- 7 years working experience in Banking/Corporate finance/Treasury
- Experience in handling banking matters (such as handling Account opening, KYC, AML, Sanctions, Trade operations, NDAs, etc.) & legal documentation for bilateral banking facilities & other standard LMA/APLMA documents.
- Experience in financial modelling/treasury management/banking liaison/current position in corporate banking, project finance etc.
- Current/prior industry experience in commodities. Experience in palm, pulp & paper and energy sectors will be an added advantage.
- Team player with good communication skills – candidate is required to liaise/coordinate with banking team members across our network plus frontline & finance teams from BGs.
- Hands on experience in MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint
- Fluency in Arabic would be an added advantage.
- Commercially oriented with high energy and a ‘can-do’ attitude. Possess strong interpersonal skills, driven, motivated individual and able to operate independently.
