Working primarily with lead partners specializing in Energy, Islamic, and Asset Finance, you will assist in driving this growth area within the wider Energy Infrastructure Project and Asset Finance (EIPAF) group. You will work on a variety of debt and leasing transactions related to diverse assets and Energy Infrastructure projects.

Description

You will primarily work with lead partners in Energy, Islamic, and Asset Finance, contributing to the growth of the EIPAF group. Your role involves working on debt and leasing transactions across various assets and energy projects. Opportunities include liaising with international offices, practice areas, and local counsel. The firm handles lending transactions across sectors, including asset-related financing involving real estate, ships, aircraft, project assets, and complex structured transactions. In this role, you can expect to engage in large energy, wastewater, and infrastructure projects across the Middle East, including complex Islamic finance structures for Shariah-compliant banks and market parties, as well as asset financing of ships, aircraft, and rolling stock.

Profile

• Qualified solicitor, ideally with 3-6 PQE
• Interest and enthusiasm for project finance
• Experience in a recognized finance team with strong project and asset finance background
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong academic record
• Ambition to succeed
• Commitment to business development and client relationship management
• Commercially oriented with a focus on innovation
• Ability to work independently and in teams
• Well-organized with strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
• Arabic speaking is advantageous but not essential
• Experience within UAE and GCC preferred
