Job summary

Stakit, a UAE-based SaaS focused on immersive data visualization and analytics, seeks a Senior Backend Rust Developer to join onsite in the United Arab Emirates. You will design and maintain backend services, implement Web3 features with Rust, and ensure robust on-chain transaction handling.

You should have production Rust experience (2+ years) and a strong backend background (5+ years). Knowledge of Bitcoin transaction flows and UTXO-based systems is highly valued.

• Collaborate with Head of Development to design, develop, and maintain backend services.
• Implement, optimize, and scale Web3 features using Rust for performance-critical ops.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance code quality, security, and performance.
• Engage in architectural discussions and propose scalable solutions for platform growth.

We take user feedback in stride & have applied that to create a hub available for founders, creators and blockchain enthusiasts to promote an % increase in user retention surrounding their business.## Key Responsibilities:* Collaborate directly with Head of Development and the core team to design, develop, and maintain backend services for the Stakit platform.* Implement, optimize, and scale Web3 features using Rust for performance-critical operations.* Integrate Bitcoin transaction functionality and ensure reliable handling of on-chain operations.* Troubleshoot, debug, and fix existing bugs while improving code quality, security, and performance.* Participate in architectural discussions, provide technical input, and propose innovative solutions for Stakit's platform growth.* Stay up-to-date with evolving blockchain technologies (Bitcoin, Ethereum, Layer-2 solutions, and more) and identify ways to leverage them in Stakit.## Requirements:* Proficiency in Rust with a track record of building production-level applications (2+ years’ experience preferred).* Proficiency in Backend Work with a track record of building production-level applications (5+ years experience preferred).* Strong understanding of Bitcoin transaction flows and familiarity with blockchain protocols, cryptographic fundamentals, and UTXO-based systems.
