Job summary

Stakit, a UAE-based SaaS focused on immersive data visualization and analytics, seeks a Senior Backend Rust Developer to join onsite in the United Arab Emirates. You will design and maintain backend services, implement Web3 features with Rust, and ensure robust on-chain transaction handling.

You should have production Rust experience (2+ years) and a strong backend background (5+ years). Knowledge of Bitcoin transaction flows and UTXO-based systems is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Rust with production-level applications (2+ years preferred).
• Backend development experience with 5+ years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Head of Development to design, develop, and maintain backend services.
• Implement, optimize, and scale Web3 features using Rust for performance-critical ops.
• Integrate Bitcoin transaction functionality and ensure reliable on-chain handling.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance code quality, security, and performance.
• Engage in architectural discussions and propose scalable solutions for platform growth.
• Stay updated on blockchain technologies (Bitcoin, Ethereum, Layer-2) and leverage them where suitable.
