Numi Technologies Ltd. in Dubai is building AI that moves real money for real people. You’ll own the systems that move payments, integrate bank APIs, and scale a production backend using Python/FastAPI and Postgres in a regulated fintech environment.

This build role demands 3+ years, strong Python and SQL, experience with REST/WebSockets/SSE, AWS, and third-party APIs. You’ll work in-person in Dubai, with visa sponsorship and relocation, equity, 25 days leave, and a fast-moving team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with production systems handling real user data or transactions.
• Strong Python skills, with FastAPI or equivalent async framework.
• Deep SQL and relational data modeling with opinions on schemas.
• Experience building REST APIs, WebSockets or SSE, and auth (JWT/OAuth 2.0).
• AWS familiarity including Lambda; ability to run services in production.
• Track record integrating third-party APIs; know when to ship robust vs quick.
• Experience in regulated fintech, payments or banking environments.

Responsibilities

• Designing and shipping APIs, data models and services in the Python/FastAPI backend.
• Building and hardening bank integrations and open banking rails.
• Migrating from SQLite to a production Postgres estate with migrations.
• Developing the execution layer turning decisions into settled transactions.
• Owning streaming infrastructure with real-time agent responses (SSE).
• Prioritising security and PII handling in design and implementation.
• Planning for 100x load growth and building for scale.
