About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer (Ruby on Rails) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building robust, scalable, and high-performance backend systems while ensuring efficiency, security, and seamless integration with frontend applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend applications using Ruby on Rails.
• Design and optimize PostgreSQL databases for scalability and performance.
• Implement secure and efficient RESTful APIs for frontend integration.
• Work closely with DevOps teams to streamline deployment and automate CI/CD processes.
• Optimize queries and database structures for high-performance applications.
• Troubleshoot and debug backend issues to ensure system reliability.
• Stay updated with industry best practices and security standards.

Requirements:

• 5 years of experience in Ruby on Rails development.
• Strong expertise in PostgreSQL, including database design and optimization.
• Experience with Sidekiq, Redis, and background job processing.
• Familiarity with GraphQL, WebSockets, or API versioning is a plus.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Heroku.
• Solid understanding of security best practices and system architecture.
