Job summary

Whippy, a leader in AI-powered business communication, is looking for an API-focused engineer to help craft scalable APIs and onboarding documentation for new products. You will own API design, contribute to research, and collaborate with product teams to deliver reliable services from idea to rollout.

Ideal candidates bring strong API architecture knowledge, excellent English communication, and willingness to participate in a paid trial.

Qualifications

Strong understanding of web API architecture.
Ability to produce high-quality, well-documented APIs.
Desire to participate in the entire development process from research to monitoring.
Excellent written English communication skills for asynchronous work.
Attend team meetings on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 2:30 pm GMT.
Willingness to participate in a paid two-week full-time or four-week part-time work trial.

Responsibilities

Craft highly scalable and intuitive APIs to rapidly deploy new products and services.
Write Engineering Requirement Documents from idea to implementation and rollout.
Build test suites to maintain product performance and reliability.
Integrate product analytics to measure feature success.
