Job description

As our Backend Developer, you will be designing, developing, and deploying software solutions that power various products at stake.fish. In this role, you will work closely with a talented product manager, designers, and other engineers to build the next generation of staking products. Your work will help secure a wide range of blockchain networks and contribute to decentralization.

What will you do?
  1. Build new services that meet critical product and business needs using TypeScript and Node.js.
  2. Build data ETL pipelines using Python.
  3. Create scalable systems to solve different problems using modern cloud technology and industry best practices.
  4. Create server code that is extensible, well-tested, and secure.
  5. Leverage automated testing, CI/CD, container orchestration, and other modern development techniques.
  6. Design database schemas that are performant, scalable, and maintainable.
  7. Proactively suggest improvements and challenge the status quo for better products and internal processes.
What excites us about you?
  1. You are knowledgeable about Ethereum and EVM concepts.
  2. You have a good understanding of data structures and algorithms.
  3. You have experience designing, creating, and maintaining production services.
  4. You are passionate about blockchain technology and decentralization, familiar with blockchain technologies.
  5. Familiar with TypeScript and Node.js; experience with Python, C++, Java, Go, or Rust.
  6. Experience with cloud services (like AWS) and Docker.
  7. Able to work independently and set up an efficient development environment.
  8. Comfortable with ambiguity, able to take charge despite uncertainties.
