Job Purpose:
The primary purpose of the Backend Developer role is to design, develop, and maintain the server-side components of web applications. This involves working with various teams to ensure seamless integration of server-side logic with front-end elements, optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability, and ensuring the overall functionality and performance of the applications. The Backend Developer will act as a key contributor to the development team, maintaining clear communication and alignment with the project's goals. This role is critical in ensuring that the company's digital solutions are robust, efficient, and scalable.
Job Accountabilities:
Develop and maintain server-side components of web applications using Java and .NET C#.
Collaborate with various departments, including marketing, IT, and customer service, to ensure seamless integration of new features.
Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Ensure the quality of code through code reviews, testing, and adherence to best practices.
Act as a key contributor to the development team, providing guidance and support as needed.
Ensure that all code and applications are compliant with regulatory requirements and aligned with the company's risk management framework.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
Degree in Computer Science or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in backend development roles.
Proven experience in developing server-side components using Java and .NET C#.
Certification in relevant technologies (e.g., Java, .NET, Python).
