Job Description:

Job Purpose
At Emirates, our Global Sales team is fundamental in ensuring we put our customers first by maximizing our value proposition as a brand. The team manages relationships with partners, customers, and account holders.

The Business to Business (B2B) Channel Distribution Adoption Manager executes and integrates the New Distribution Capability (NDC) adoption strategy in their region. Working with headquarters and local teams, the role manages NDC at regional, country, and city levels. As a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in NDC adoption, the role provides technical and commercial guidance to enhance the capability, understanding, and proficiency of sales teams, ensuring regional/POS strategies meet KPIs, increase NDC bookings, and maximize the use of Emirates Gateway (EGW).

In This Role, You Will:

  1. Develop regional and point of sale sales strategies with Commercial Operations to achieve KPIs, maximize NDC revenue, respond to market needs, and grow EGW.
  2. Support commercial teams on NDC adoption efficiencies, engage with markets to identify gaps and challenges, and negotiate incentive schemes to boost NDC bookings.
  3. Build strong relationships across Commercial, Revenue Optimization, Distribution, and local aggregators to ensure clarity and alignment for adoption.
  4. Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify relationships, structure, Terms of Reference, and processes from new requests to go live, monitoring the NDC adoption lifecycle.
  5. Enhance the capabilities of sales teams and travel agents, maximizing revenue through full use of EGW, in cooperation with Learning & Training for training and proficiency.
  6. Act as an SME, providing technical and commercial guidance, change management support, and on-the-job training and coaching.
  7. Promote EGW to the Commercial Sales teams, articulating its benefits and opportunities to maximize revenue.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Honours with 8+ years of experience in Commercial disciplines, emphasizing Business & Sales.
  • Experience in NDC adoption, commercial distribution, GDS, aggregator, and business development within Passenger Sales functions.

Knowledge/Skills:

  • Deep knowledge of the airline industry, global distribution channels, and airline strategy, including revenue optimization and sales.
  • Expertise in stakeholder management and organizational awareness.
  • Ability to build relationships across various sectors including Consultancy, Travel, Transportation, and Airlines.
  • Experience in process improvement, project management, and resource organization for quick turnaround.
