Job summary

Mindtel is seeking an Azure-focused cloud engineer to design, deploy, and manage Azure-based solutions in a Dubai environment. The role drives cloud infrastructure, automation, and security, collaborating with development teams for reliable deployments and ongoing maintenance.

The candidate will implement Azure best practices, monitor performance and costs, and participate in incident response to ensure scalable and secure cloud services aligned with business strategy.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy and manage cloud-based solutions on Microsoft Azure.
• Oversee Azure cloud infrastructure including virtual machines, networking, storage and security.
• Automate infrastructure deployment and management using tools such as Azure CLI and PowerShell.
• Ensure high availability, scalability and optimal performance of cloud applications and services.
• Collaborate with development teams for application deployment, monitoring and maintenance in the Azure environment.
• Implement and enforce security best practices including identity/access management and data encryption.
• Monitor cloud resources for performance and cost efficiency; recommend improvements.
• Participate in incident response and provide on-call support for system reliability.
• Stay current with Azure technologies and contribute to cloud strategy enhancements.
