Job description

As an AWS Training Partner (ATP) Sales Manager, you will have the exciting opportunity to support AWS customers in acquiring cloud skills and credentials that can accelerate their journey to the AWS cloud, fuel innovation, maximize their AWS Cloud investment, and develop careers.

You will drive engagement with AWS account teams, primarily in the SMB Start-Up and ISV-Small segments, to enable the attachment of both Digital (Skill Builder) and ATP-Delivered ILT training solutions. You should have a business and solution-focused background that can build relevance and proactive activity with the AWS Sales teams, as well as drive best practices and disciplined execution with your ATPs. You should be prepared to create opportunities within the AWS Sales teams and support business activities within your ATPs.

AWS Training & Certification is responsible for driving training and certification revenue, AWS cloud adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest-growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers and partners, including the public sector.

Key job responsibilities
  1. Drive training sales execution with AWS training partners (ATPs) by teaming with AWS field sellers in the SMB Start-up and ISV segments. This involves building relationships with customers, AWS account teams, and training partners. Your goal is to help drive top-line training & certification revenue growth via AWS originated opportunities (AOs).
  2. Work with the AWS Training Partner Managers and the broader APN Segment to identify and engage partners who can include key Training & Certification products such as AWS Skill Builder Team Subscription, AWS Instructor-led training, and AWS Certification as part of customer AWS migration and digital transformation projects.
  3. Contribute to team best practices to create effective strategies for your business, with the ability to build and communicate compelling value propositions. Innovate new go-to-market ideas and tactical activities relevant to your ATP and AWS sales communities to maximize relevance, speed to market, and opportunity creation.
  4. Deliver against regional revenue goals and execute on performance KPIs related to opportunity creation, opportunity sharing via ACE, and opportunity revenue values.
