Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking a senior cloud/DevOps leader to own and evolve the cloud platforms across AWS, Azure, and GCP. You will guide multi-tenant environments, mentor engineers, and drive secure, scalable cloud initiatives in partnership with senior leadership.

You will shape adoption strategies, ensure high availability, automate security controls, and oversee client deliverables while aligning AI-enabled practices with enterprise goals.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in IT/digital transformation and cloud environments.
• 5+ years hands-on AWS, Azure, or GCP experience.
• Experience leading multi-tenant cloud systems and secure solutions.

Responsibilities

• Own the current state of cloud platforms and identify improvement gaps.
• Improve operational excellence across cloud environments.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical requirements and objectives.
• Lead a DevOps team to implement secure cloud strategies.
• Partner with leadership to drive cloud adoption initiatives.
• Oversee client deliverables and help adopt AI practices.
