Job summary

STATERA is seeking an experienced Analytics Engineer (AWS) to design scalable analytics solutions within the AWS ecosystem. You will work on a data and analytics project, building analytics data models, star schemas, and incremental data structures.

You will develop complex SQL queries, establish semantic layers and KPIs, and create executive dashboards in Tableau to empower self-service BI and data-driven decisions. Dubai-based with experience in AWS stack is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with AWS analytics stack and data modeling.
• Advanced SQL skills and Python (pandas, boto3) experience.
• Experience building enterprise dashboards with Tableau.
• Knowledge of data governance and security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Query and transform large-scale datasets using AWS tools.
• Design and maintain scalable analytical data models.
• Build Star Schemas, SCD tables and incremental data models.
• Develop optimized SQL queries, views, and window functions.
• Define semantic layers, KPIs, metrics, and metadata mappings.
• Create data stories and dashboards for executives.
• Support self-service BI and data-driven decision-making.
