AVP - Testing Quality & Lifecycle & Portfolio Management

We are seeking a high-caliber Testing professional to join our Transformation Team to lead and establish an enterprise-wide Testing function. The candidate should be able to oversee the entire testing cycle (including ITQA, SIT, UAT, defect fix quality, QA, Sanity) with a focus on agility and test quality, enabling the organization to minimize deployment defects and optimize testing efforts. Familiarity with and promotion of new AI testing tools that reduce cycle time and improve testing assurance is essential.

Responsibilities include :

  • Develop and implement a UAT management framework, governance rules, policies, and SOPs for smooth departmental functioning.
  • Ensure high quality of UAT test scripts, planning, and execution.
  • Manage UAT schedules across projects.
  • Plan resource engagement and availability aligning with testing timelines.
  • Establish a reporting framework for senior management to monitor planning, quality, compliance, and schedules of UAT activities.
  • Implement UAT Entry and Exit criteria.
  • Manage UAT quality and schedules, communicating impacts of plan or requirement changes.
  • Design strategic approaches to UAT management and support operations within this domain.
  • Define KPIs and scorecards to monitor UAT performance.
  • Develop toolkits and templates for effective UAT management.
  • Prepare strategic reports for senior management review.
  • Identify cost reduction and process improvement opportunities to support business growth and cost containment.
  • Maintain strong communication channels with stakeholders to align UAT activities with the bank’s KPIs.
