Job summary

First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) in the UAE seeks an AVP – Regulatory Affairs to lead end-to-end regulatory examinations, thematic reviews, and on-site inspections, coordinating with Regulators and internal stakeholders to deliver timely, well-governed responses.

You will drive logs, trackers, and documentation, push automation of regulatory processes, and ensure robust regulatory oversight across the bank, contributing to a strong regulatory standing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Law, Business, or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in regulatory compliance within financial institutions.
• Strong knowledge of banking regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements.
• Excellent organisational, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end management of regulatory examinations and thematic reviews.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather documentation for timely responses.
• Maintain logs and trackers; provide regular status updates to Head of Regulatory Affairs – UAE.
• Coordinate on-site regulatory inspections and brief stakeholders.
• Manage RFIs from Regulators with timely, accurate responses.
• Oversee circulars and notices; maintain central repository.
• Develop automation and process improvement for regulatory reporting.
