The purpose of this job is to support tasks related to MIS, Analytics, Incentives, and Reporting across all segments and channels of the Consumer Banking Group.
Ensure the formulation and implementation of strategic objectives and policies to enable the Consumer Banking Group to successfully achieve its performance management goals.
Research, recommend, and implement procedures, systems, and processes in line with relevant legislation, policies, and agreements.
Support activities related to the performance management cycle, managing communication, sensitization, and monitoring to ensure effectiveness and relevance.
Accountabilities:
- Timely delivery of MI, reports, and dashboards for specific channels and segments, providing data-driven insights for performance improvement.
- Communicate with product, sales, and segment heads to understand reporting requirements.
- Perform root-cause analysis and recommend enhancements to optimize resource allocation.
- Administer incentive plans, including understanding plan documents, preparing communications, and auditing data accuracy.
- Provide technical support regarding Data Warehouse and reporting functionalities.
- Review and process incentive payouts and related transactions.
- Ensure accurate, reliable, and consistent data extraction.
- Analyze data from various sources to generate performance insights.
- Manage departmental reports, communicate findings, and provide recommendations.
- Adhere to compliance and regulatory rules including PCI DSS, UAE laws, and GDPR.
Performance Management:
- Manage MIS and reporting capabilities across sales channels and departments.
- Assist in creating management dashboards.
- Design and deliver reports, analytics, and dashboards for end-users.
- Test system cases and plans for performance management tools.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of performance dashboards.
- Manage incentive calculation teams and automate processes.
- Develop KPIs and monitor performance against targets.
- Innovate with data automation, keeping up with technological trends.
Decision Support:
- Collaborate with leaders to support data-driven decisions.
- Track and analyze data to support business strategies.
- Use analytical tools to enhance performance and refine processes.
- Mine databases for relevant analysis.
- Develop solutions addressing business problems and manage report delivery.
- Provide insights on staff and channel performance, creating analytical presentations.
Strategic Contribution:
- Support CB Strategy implementation aligning with the Group’s Governance Framework.
- Ensure dashboards and action plans are prepared for governance meetings.
People Management:
- Lead and motivate the team, tracking objectives and performance.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and training.
- Model FAB’s values and support talent development.
- Oversee development of Operating Plans and Dashboards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, or related field.
- 6+ years of relevant experience with extensive MIS & Data Management knowledge.
Other Essential Requirements:
- Strong SQL skills.
- Experience with data warehousing, ETLs, and automation.
- Knowledge of banking products and KPIs.
- Proficiency with BI tools like Power BI or Business Objects.
- Understanding of analytical and statistical techniques.
- Experience creating databases and dashboards.
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
