Job summary

Mashreq is seeking an AVP – Information Security in IS GRC to design, embed, and operate foundational IS GRC capabilities under the Head of IS GRC. This cross‑functional role acts as a Centre of Excellence, enabling scalable frameworks and platforms to ensure regulatory confidence and measurable risk reduction.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience with at least 2–3 years in GRC domains (Policy, Governance & Culture, Cyber Strategy & Program Management, Risk & Compliance).
• Proven track record of managing enterprise-level projects and relationships with senior/executive management.
• Strong knowledge across Information Security and Cyber Security disciplines, including governance, policy development, compliance management, risk assessment, and risk management strategy.

Responsibilities

• Lead InfoSec Risk Management orchestration and sustain risk culture change.
• Define and implement the Information Security Risk Management Strategy & Framework.
• Govern foundational risk assets: risk register, heatmap, library, and decisioning artefacts.
