Job Description
JOB PURPOSE:
The role holder is responsible for managing Card customer lifecycles, including Acquisition and Portfolio, using predictive and prescriptive analytics (building and monitoring) for PBG, both ETB and NTB. The role involves managing all cross-sell and upsell customer communications, enabling an AI-driven organization, and liaising with business and IT project teams to develop roadmaps and implement strategies. The role also includes developing and executing a comprehensive data strategy aligned with business goals to drive value, transforming data and banking trends into strategic insights for journeys, channels, and products.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Core Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with business segments and senior stakeholders within PBG to leverage analytics capabilities, providing insights and recommendations to support acquisition, cross-sell, up-sell, retention, and win-back strategies.
- Monitor and report on demand, performance trends, market share, and competitive intelligence; analyze trends in relation to pricing actions; prepare and present reports for the head of products and other executive audiences.
- Interpret financial model results and apply learnings to portfolio and acquisition analytics.
- Refine analytics activities to expand monetization scope across ideation, innovation, and product lifecycle management.
- Drive customer segmentation based on demographics and purchase patterns to develop tailored value propositions across client segments.
- Perform quantitative analyses to design customer acquisition and lifecycle strategies, employing a champion-challenger approach to test and implement strategies.
- Lead and mentor analysts to establish a high-performance analytics team.
- Ensure effective inter-departmental communication to clarify roles, requirements, dependencies, decisions, and work processes.
Specific Accountabilities
- Collaborate with product, marketing, digital, and distribution teams to understand existing customer acquisition journeys and plan AI-driven optimization activities to improve conversion rates.
- Manage and report on product conversion metrics to senior management and develop roadmaps to enhance customer engagement through targeted products and services.
- Bring industry insights, perspectives, and innovative ideas to key stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Business, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field is required.
- Extensive experience in analysis, campaign management, AI/ML models, and card analytics.
- Minimum of 15+ years of progressively responsible experience in retail banking or the card consulting space, demonstrating both professional expertise and management capabilities.
