What Are the Key Responsibilities?

1. Serve as a financial partner to the Global Corporate Finance (GCF) team by providing reporting, insights, and decision support
2. Manage and develop performance-driven MIS and business commentary
3. Conduct detailed P&L reviews and monthly reporting across GCF units
4. Lead forecasting and budgeting initiatives aligned with CIB's financial targets
5. Drive business performance improvement through process re-engineering and policy compliance
6. Oversee GCF account reconciliation, control, and balance sheet integrity
7. Provide data and documentation for internal/external audits and regulatory requirements
8. Support international reporting needs and collaborate across finance, treasury, and enablement teams
9. Participate in global and regional financial strategy planning and transformation efforts
10. Maintain productive relationships with business leaders, group finance teams, and external auditors

What Skills Are Needed for This Role in Abu Dhabi?

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• Professional qualifications such as ACA, CFA, or CIMA are highly preferred

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in business finance or investment banking finance
• Experience working in a global or regional bank is an advantage
• Strong understanding of corporate finance, treasury, and financial controls

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of financial products in the corporate and investment banking domain
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and Oracle OBIEE
• Experience with financial reporting systems and audit preparation
• Ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders and manage complex data
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage
