Job description

Performs scheduled and unscheduled aircraft electrical systems maintenance. Carries out directives from the Supervisor in support of the maintenance team and unit operations.

Will also be responsible for :

1. Perform inspection, repair, troubleshooting, and testing of aircraft and equipment electrical systems in accordance with applicable technical publications, applicable regulations, and company and local policies and procedures. Assist in ensuring aircraft and equipment are maintained in a high state of mission readiness.

2. Complete all forms, records, and documents recording aircraft maintenance activities in accordance with DA PAM 738-751, applicable technical publications, applicable regulations, and company and local policies and procedures.

3. Impart knowledge of duties and responsibilities (advice, support, and on-the-job training) to trainee technicians to enable them to attain the capability to perform self-sufficient aircraft electrical repairs.

4. Carry out all tasks assigned by the Supervisor in support of the maintenance team and unit operations.

Qualifications:

  • Federal Communications Commission (FCC) license or industry equivalent.
  • High School Diploma; graduation from military or commercial aircraft maintenance school or course required.
  • Must be able to attain a UAE Driving License.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 6 years in aircraft avionics or electrical maintenance.
  • Minimum of 3 years electrical repair experience on the relevant aircraft type.
  • Thorough knowledge of common tools, special tools, test equipment, and aviation ground support equipment used in aircraft maintenance.
