Qualifications

Job description

Performs scheduled and unscheduled aircraft electrical systems maintenance. Carries out directives from the Supervisor in support of the maintenance team and unit operations.

Will also be responsible for :

1. Perform inspection, repair, troubleshooting, and testing of aircraft and equipment electrical systems in accordance with applicable technical publications, regulations, and company policies. Assist in maintaining aircraft and equipment in a high state of mission readiness.

2. Complete all forms, records, and documents recording aircraft maintenance activities in accordance with DA PAM 738-751, technical publications, regulations, and policies.

3. Impart knowledge of duties and responsibilities through advice, support, and On the Job Training to customer trainees, enabling technicians to attain full self-sufficient aircraft electrical repair capability.

4. Carry out all tasks assigned by the Supervisor to support the maintenance team and unit operations.

Qualification

  • Federal Communications Commission (FCC) license or industry equivalent.
  • High School Diploma; graduation from military or commercial aircraft maintenance school or course required.
  • Must be able to attain a UAE Driving License.

Experience

  • Minimum of 6 years aircraft avionic or electrician experience in aviation maintenance.
  • Minimum of 3 years electrical repair experience on aircraft of relevant type.
  • Thorough knowledge of common tools, special tools, test equipment, and aviation ground support equipment used in aircraft maintenance.
