Job summary

Blue Ocean Academy in the United Arab Emirates seeks an experienced aviation trainer with an IATA certification to lead training programs for IATA exams and related courses. You will design and deliver engaging in-person and online sessions, and mentor students from diverse backgrounds.

The role requires 5+ years in aviation, strong IATA knowledge, and proven ability to develop training materials. You will operate in a multicultural environment and stay current with industry trends and standards.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid IATA certification.
• Minimum 5 years in the aviation industry including a managerial role.
• Mandatory experience working with an airline.
• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; a master’s degree is an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of IATA regulations, standards, procedures, and industry practices.
• Proven ability to develop comprehensive and effective training materials.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and classroom management skills.
• Proficiency in training tools and technologies for both classroom and virtual learning.
• Ability to motivate, engage, and manage students from diverse cultural backgrounds.
• Conduct engaging classroom and virtual training sessions, workshops, webinars, and practical learning activities.
• Assess student performance through examinations, assignments, mock tests, and other evaluation methods.
• Provide constructive feedback, individual guidance, and additional academic support to students as required.
• Conduct revision sessions and mock examinations to prepare students for IATA certification examinations.
• Incorporate relevant industry examples and practical insights into training delivery.
• Stay updated on aviation industry developments, IATA regulations, and emerging training methodologies.
