Job summary

GAL is seeking an experienced Technical Inspector to provide technical and quality control oversight for aircraft and components in Abu Dhabi, UAE. You will inspect maintenance actions, review records for airworthiness, and ensure documentation adheres to TAMMS-(A) and OEM procedures.

Ideal candidates hold a Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance or A&P Licence, with 8+ years of aviation maintenance experience and prior QC roles. AVUM/AVIM and military aviation experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance or equivalent aviation qualification.
• A&P Licence or equivalent.
• AS/AA degree in aviation-related studies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect aircraft and components during removal, disassembly, assembly, installation and adjustment activities.
• Review and audit technical records to support airworthiness.
• Maintain accurate historical records including life limits, overhaul and retirement requirements.
• Provide QC oversight of aircraft modifications and maintenance activities.
• Ensure timely implementation of OEM bulletins, maintenance and safety messages.
• Support QC activities away from base when required and act as QC Supervisor in their absence.
