Job summary

GAL Global Aerospace Logistics in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Technical Inspector to lead quality control and engineering tasks for aircraft and components. You will review records, inspect installations, and ensure documentation adheres to SOPs and OEM Bulletins.

The role requires hands-on verification, precision tooling checks (protractor, micrometer, calipers), and reporting on defects or discrepancies. Occasional site audits and temporary duty may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience auditing aircraft technical records for airworthiness.
• Ability to inspect aircraft during removal, disassembly, and installation.
• Ensure Work-In-Progress documentation per TAMMS-(A) and SOPs.
• Update historical aircraft records and prevent overflight of components.
• Proficient in applying OEM Bulletins and Safety messages.
• Able to perform facility audits and temporary TDY as needed.

Responsibilities

• Review and audit technical records that support airworthiness for aircraft and components.
• Inspect aircraft and components during removal, disassembly, and installation to verify workmanship and specs.
• Ensure WIP is documented and corrective actions logged per TAMMS-(A).
• Maintain correct aircraft historical records and prevent overflight of SSL/overhaul schedules.
• Process OEM Bulletins, Maintenance and Safety messages accurately.
• Provide QC oversight of aircraft modifications and incident investigations.
• Perform quality checks and assist QC Supervisor as needed.
