Job summary

Emirates Engineering in Dubai seeks a Maintenance Technician to provide hands-on support for scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance of aircraft ground support equipment and vehicles. You will assist with fault finding, repairs, and daily log-keeping while adhering to safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 2 years maintenance experience in a large organization, ideally aviation ground support or cargo handling.
• Trade certificate in engineering discipline (2-year program).
• Proven ability to communicate in English (verbal & written).

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule daily tasks in the area of work.
• Maintain workshop housekeeping and care for tools.
• Diagnose and repair faults to minimize downtime.
• Record work in log books and Maintenance Management System.
• Follow standard safety procedures and raise parts/tools requests as needed.
• Assist in scheduled maintenance per standards and regulatory requirements.
• Operate GPU/PCA units and handling equipment as required.
• Assist in maintenance of equipment, vehicles, and plant to ensure reliability.
