Aviation Logistics Supervisor Jobs in Abu Dhabi, UAE

Will also be responsible for:

  1. Managing storage space utilization and developing location systems and care of supplies in storage.
  2. Resolving issues related to storage, safety, and HAZMAT storage.
  3. Ensuring items are transported efficiently to repair organizations or facilities inside or outside the customer location.
  4. Supervising and implementing cost-saving strategies for procurement, establishing ROPs, and stock levels while increasing productivity in warehousing and shipping operations.
  5. Making decisions that require strategic thinking, data analysis, and coordination with departments or other sections.
  6. Implementing regulations and policies to improve logistics functions.
  7. Overseeing asset management and asset visibility functions.
  8. Ensuring tools, parts, and equipment are tracked, repaired/calibrated, located, and inspected according to regulations.
  9. Generating reports for tracking and accounting of payments, shipping, procurement, property, and warehouse stock.
  10. Managing SDR reporting of items delivered to the logistics department.
  11. Reviewing and monitoring company quality and safety standards, ensuring they are communicated, implemented, and monitored by the logistics team.
  12. Preparing performance evaluations, conducting reviews, disciplinary actions, and facilitating training or mentoring to maximize productivity and quality.
  13. Conducting regular employee meetings and attending company-sponsored meetings or training.
  14. Training subordinates in logistics functions, recognizing their strengths and weaknesses.
  15. Planning and ordering spares from approved suppliers based on maintenance demands.
  16. Maintaining and improving service to the customer by ensuring materials are available for operations.
  17. Meeting operational budget for spares.
  18. Monitoring stock accountability and requisitions to prevent AOG or critical delays.
  19. Collaborating with Maintenance Planning, Production Planning, Operations, Engineering, Finance, and IT for planning actions.
  20. Coordinating with QC for inspection of repaired parts.
  21. Ensuring incoming products are traceable, properly stocked, preserved, and in accordance with SOPs.
  22. Performing monthly cyclic inventories and checks.
  23. Monitoring all shelf life items, inspections, expiry dates, preservation, and calibration due dates.
  24. Compiling and submitting inventory management reports as required.
  25. Maintaining and monitoring the Key Control Program.
  26. Ensuring all aspects of an efficient property book are maintained to support the command supply discipline program.
  27. Monitoring and reporting issues with sensitive and high-value equipment.

Nationality: No restriction

Qualification: High School Diploma, certifications, or relevant experience. A Bachelor's Degree in Business or Supply Chain Management is preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 6 years in aircraft supply operations and warehouse/inventory management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. Hands-on training with automated supply systems and forklift operation in a warehouse environment are required.
