Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Assistant Manager to support the daily operations of our climbing gym in Dubai. The ideal candidate should be a self-starter, capable of managing tasks with minimal supervision, and possess strong leadership skills to supervise staff, drive sales, and maintain a high-energy environment. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth facility operations, motivating team members, enhancing customer experience, and managing our digital presence.

Key Responsibilities: 1. Operational & Facility Management:

●Assist in overseeing daily gym operations with minimal supervision, ensuring safety and efficiency.

●Conduct routine facility checks and coordinate maintenance/repairs as needed.

●Manage inventory, equipment, and supplies, ensuring availability and proper functioning.

2. Staff Supervision & Motivation:

●Lead, train, and motivate front desk staff, climbing instructors, and café/barista teams.

●Ensure staff delivers exceptional customer service and meets sales targets.

●Conduct team meetings, set performance goals, and provide constructive feedback.

3. Sales & Revenue Growth:

●Drive front desk sales (memberships, day passes, retail, and climbing gear).

●Motivate café staff to upsell beverages, snacks, and promotions.

●Develop and implement strategies to increase customer retention and engagement.

4. Customer Experience & Engagement:

●Ensure a welcoming and energetic atmosphere for members and visitors.

●Address customer inquiries, feedback, and concerns promptly and professionally.

●Organize events, challenges, or promotions to boost gym participation.

5. Social Media & Digital Management:

●Manage and update the gym’s social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.).

●Create engaging content (photos, videos, stories) to promote the gym and attract new customers.

●Monitor trends and suggest improvements to enhance online presence and engagement.

●Respond to online inquiries and reviews in a timely and professional manner.

6. Administrative Duties:

●Assist in scheduling, payroll, and staff management.

●Prepare daily/weekly reports on sales, attendance, and operational issues.

●Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company policies.

Requirements:

●Minimum 3 years of experience in a managerial/supervisory role (gym, hospitality, or retail preferred).

●Fluent in both English and Arabic (spoken and written) is a must.

●Strong leadership skills – ability to train, inspire, and manage a diverse team.

●Sales-driven mindset with experience in driving revenue (memberships, retail, F&B).

●Social media savvy with experience in content creation and digital marketing.

●Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

●Problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.

●Passion for fitness/climbing is a huge plus.

●Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

●Experience in climbing gyms, fitness centers, or adventure sports.

●Knowledge of operations systems, membership software, and inventory management.

●Basic graphic design or video editing skills (Canva, Adobe, etc.).
