Blue Rhine Industries is a leading provider of Digital Signage and AV solutions across the GCC. We seek an AV Presales Engineer to deliver technical expertise, design customized AV solutions, and prepare thorough proposals in close collaboration with the sales team.

You will work with clients, consultants, and internal teams to understand project requirements, develop sound, cost-effective AV solutions, and support tender submissions through technical clarification and value engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in AV design, presales, or integration.
• Strong knowledge of professional AV systems and integration.
• Experience designing solutions using Crestron, Extron, AMX, Lightware, QSC.
• Experience preparing tender documents, BoQs, and cost estimations.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and AV design software.
• CTS or CTS‑D certification preferred.
• UAE residency preferred.

Job Overview

We are seeking a technically skilled and experienced AV Presales Engineer to join our growing Audio-Visual Solutions team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical expertise and presales support, designing customized AV solutions, preparing technical proposals, and assisting the sales team throughout the project bidding and tendering process.

This role requires close collaboration with the AV Sales team, clients, consultants, and internal engineering teams to understand project requirements and develop technically sound, cost-effective, and innovative AV solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop customized Audio-Visual (AV) solutions based on client requirements, project specifications, and industry standards.
• Prepare comprehensive AV system designs, including system architecture, equipment selection, and technical specifications.
• Ensure proposed solutions are technically feasible, scalable, cost-effective, and aligned with client expectations.
• Evaluate and recommend suitable AV technologies, products, and system configurations.

Site Surveys & Technical Assessments

• Conduct site surveys to assess project requirements, existing infrastructure, and installation feasibility.
• Gather relevant site information, measurements, and technical details required for AV system design.
• Identify potential technical challenges and recommend appropriate solutions.

Technical Documentation & Design Packages

• Prepare detailed technical documentation, including Scope of Work (SoW), Operational Narratives, and system design specifications.
• Develop Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) in coordination with the in-house CAD team.
• Prepare and review comprehensive AV installation design packages, including:
• Rack Elevations
• Equipment Mounting Elevations
• Single Line Diagrams (SLDs)
• Ensure all technical drawings and documentation comply with project specifications and design standards.
• Review Requests for Proposals (RFPs), tender documents, and technical specifications to identify project requirements and potential design deficiencies.
• Prepare accurate Bills of Quantities (BoQs), cost estimations, and technical proposals.
• Assist the sales team in preparing competitive and technically compliant tender submissions.
• Identify technical gaps, design inconsistencies, and opportunities for value engineering.
• Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to obtain technical specifications, product recommendations, and pricing information.
• Provide technical assistance to the AV Sales team throughout the sales and bidding process.
• Collaborate with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders to understand project requirements and recommend suitable AV solutions.
• Participate in technical discussions, client meetings, and solution presentations.Respond to technical queries, clarifications, and design-related requirements during the presales stage.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Sales, Projects, Engineering, CAD, Procurement, and Installation teams to ensure seamless coordination.
• Support project teams by providing technical clarifications and design documentation during project handover.
• Coordinate with manufacturers and technology partners to ensure the proposed solutions meet project requirements.

Continuous Learning & Technical Innovation

• Stay updated with emerging AV technologies, industry standards, and advancements in system integration.
• Evaluate new products and technologies to enhance solution quality and competitiveness.
• Maintain knowledge of leading AV manufacturers, integration platforms, and industry best practices.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in AV system design, presales engineering, or AV systems integration.
• Strong technical knowledge of professional Audio-Visual systems, including audio systems, video distribution, control systems, conferencing solutions, and integrated AV technologies.
• Hands-on experience in designing solutions using leading AV brands such as Crestron, Extron, AMX, Lightware, QSC, and similar technologies.
• Proven experience in preparing tender documentation, Bills of Quantities (BoQs), technical proposals, and project cost estimations.Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), and AV installation design documentation.
• Strong understanding of AV system architecture, equipment specifications, signal flow, and integration requirements.
• Ability to review RFPs, identify technical discrepancies, and recommend suitable design improvements.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and other AV design or engineering software will be an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and technical presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and tender submissions while meeting deadlines.
• Experience coordinating with clients, consultants, suppliers, and internal project teams.
• AVIXA CTS or CTS-D certification will be preferred.
• Candidates currently residing in the UAE will be preferred.
